  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 lb. medium egg noodles
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 4 lb. ground beef (chuck)
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 4 to 6 qt. boiling water
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (1 lb.) can corn, drained
  • 6 to 8 oz. cans tomato sauce

Directions

    Cook noodles in salted water.

    Drain.

    Saute onions until soft. Add meat.

    Cook until brown; add green pepper, corn, chili powder and salt.

    Combine with noodles and top with cheese in a 2 to 3-quart baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Good frozen in meal size containers.
