- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 to 3 c. (1 lb. can) tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. mostaccioli noodles, cooked and drained
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. sliced Velveeta
Directions

1Brown meat and drain.

2Add green peppers and onion and cook until tender.

3Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings.

4In a 2-quart casserole, layer half the noodles, meat sauce and Velveeta.

5Repeat layers.

6Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in oven at 350°

7for 30 minutes.
