- 1 lb uncooked mostaccioli pasta or 1 lb tubular pasta
- 1 12 lbs bulk Italian sausage
- 28 ounces meatless spaghetti sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (15 ounce) carton ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 12 cup romano cheese, grated
Directions

1Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.

2Crumble sausage into Dutch oven.

3Cook over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.

4Stir in the spaghetti sauce and cooked pasta.

5In a bowl, combine the egg, ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese.

6Spoon half of the pasta mixture into a greased shallow 3-quart baking dish.

7Layer with the cheese mixture and remaining pasta mixture.

8Cover and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.

9Uncover; top with Romano cheese.

10Bake 5 minutes longer or until heated through.
