  • 1 1/2 cups gram flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup raisins and cashews
  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • oil As required

Directions

    Sieve the gram flour and then prepare a batter by mixing it with water.

    Dissolve one cup of sugar in 1 cup of water and prepare the sugar syrup to a single string consistency.

    Now add the cardamom powder and the food color (orange color) .

    Heat oil in a pan on medium heat, pour the batter over the ladle to form small balls .

    Don't let it turn crispy. Drain it from oil and immediately drop them into the sugar syrup.

    Leave it in the sugar syrup for few minutes and drain it.

    Repeat the same process for the whole batter.

    Now heat little ghee in a pan and fry the raisins followed by the cashews , add it to the boondi.

    Let it cool for few minutes.
