- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. condensed milk
- 2 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds
- 2 pkg. premelted chocolate
- 3 c. 10x sugar
- 1/3 c. cream or milk
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix shortening, cocoa, eggs, sugar and flour.

2Spread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

3Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

4Stir together sweetened condensed milk, coconut and almonds.

5Spread over partially baked hot crust.

6Return to oven for 15 minutes more.

7Let cool.

8Combine chocolate, confectioners sugar, cream, butter, salt and vanilla.

9Beat until smooth.

10Spread over cooled bars.
