Mozzarella Meat Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce to top

    Brown meat; drain.

    Add green pepper and cook until semi-tender.

    Add tomato paste and 1/2 cup cheese; mix well. Separate crescent rolls and press into 9-inch glass pie plate. Form crust and flute edge.

    Fill with meat mixture.

    Top with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

    (Use spaghetti sauce to top; warm it first.)
