  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup, white
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan.

    Add sugar, Karo syrup and salt.

    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

    Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn.

    Stir well.

    Bake at 250° for 25 to 30 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
