  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. cooked prunes, pitted
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Cream butter; add sugar and eggs.

    Then add prunes, then flour with other dry ingredients added to flour and milk.

    Cook in two pans at 325° for about 30 minutes.

    Ice with confectioners sugar icing.
