  • 1 cup muesli
  • 1 cup sugar caster
  • 1 cup flour plain
  • 125 grams butter
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons bicarb soda

Directions

    Combine meusli, sugar and sifted flour in a bowl. Melt butter with golden syrup over a low heat. Mix boiling water and bicarb soda and combine with butter mixture. Stir into dry ingredients.

    Place teaspoons of mixyure onto greased baking trays allowing room for spreading. Bake in a slow oven (330F) for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Leave on baking trays for a couple of minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
