  • 1/2 lemon
  • 6 3/8 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 7/16 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 7 tablespoons butter in pieces, softened
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • jams several different flavored
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    In a food processor, add the lemon zest, and sugar and mix for 40 seconds.

    Add the flour, egg, butter, and baking powder and mix for 20 seconds.

    Add to a bowl, cover with plastic film wrap and leave to rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

    Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.

    Roll out the pastry and place in a pie plate, keeping aside a little of the pastry to form strips to 8 create segments.

    Fill each segment with a different jam.

    Bake for 25 minutes.

    Leave to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
