- 14 cup whole wheat flour
- 14 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- maple syrup
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.

2In a small bowl, beat egg and add buttermilk and butter.

3Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

4Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a hot lightly greased griddle.

5Turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes.
