  • pie crust for 2 crust pie
  • 1 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. grated or shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 medium onions, sliced paper thin
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

    Make pie crust.

    Put in a 9-inch plate.

    Saute onions in butter until tender.

    Take off heat.

    Add mushrooms and cheese, mixing well.

    Put in pie crust.

    Make lattice pie crust on top.

    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until crust is done.

    Serve warm as a side dish with a roast.
