Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 medium celery
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 small whole onion
  • 1 small whole Italian pepper
  • 1 small whole tomato
  • 4 1/2 c. water
  • 4 chicken cubes

Directions

    Brown flour in oil.

    Add paprika.

    Slowly add 1/4 cup water to make a thick paste.

    After lumps are worked out add remainder of ingredients and then let up with 4 1/4 cups water.

    Cook slowly for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until vegetables are tender.
