  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons mustard powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

Directions

    Combine the flour with the mustard, sugar and salt in the top of a double boiler with water boiling in the bottom.

    Gradually add milk into the flour mixture stirring constantly till mixture thickens.

    Add beaten eggs and cook 2 to 3 minutes more.

    Add vinegar and serve while hot.

    Use for fish or meat.
