- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 3 Tbsp. cumin
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- garlic powder
- ketchup
- beer
Directions

1Using a large pot, brown the meat.

2Add all spices, except garlic powder.

4After simmering for 1 to 2 minutes, generously sprinkle meat-spice mixture with ketchup and garlic powder.

5Stir and continue to simmer.

6Add the 2 cans of beans and mix well.

7Bring to a boil.

8Continue at simmer for 2 hours.

9Do not skimp on simmering.

10This mixes the flavors.

11For moisture, use beer during cooking as needed.
