My Pecan Pie

- 2 eggs
- 12 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup Dark Karo syrup or 1 cup light Karo syrup
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 23 cup pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell (do not use a deep pie crust)
Directions

1beat eggs well.

2mix sugar, starch and salt.

3add beaten eggs.

4stir in syrup.

5stir in pecans.

6pour into unbaked pie shell.

7bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.

8pie will be soupy when hot but will congeal as it cools.
