- 40 saltines (salted), plus a few extra to fill in
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Line cookie sheet with foil.

2Spray with Pam or equivalent. Place crackers on pan in a single layer (like a checkerboard). Mix and boil butter and brown sugar for 3 minutes.

3Pour mixture over crackers.

4Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until crackers float and/or mixture bubbles.

5Take out of oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.

6Chips will melt and should be spread evenly over pan with back of a spoon.

7Sprinkle pan with nuts.

8Score individual crackers with knife.

9Refrigerate and finish cutting when cold.

10Keep bars refrigerated or in freezer.
