Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour, all-purpose sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 1 each chocolate (semi-sweet) bitter
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar white
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup coffee double strength

Directions

    Melt chocolate and butter together add 3/4 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt and blend well.

    Combine milk and vanilla.

    Add and mix well.

    Pour into greased pan and combine white and brown sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over batter.

    Pour coffee over top.

    Bake at 350F (180C) for 40 minutes.

    Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
