- tortilla chips or large corn chips
- Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
- canned green chilli peppers or jalapeno peppers, rinsed and seeded
Directions

1Spread tortilla chips in a single layer on ovenproof plate or foil lined baking sheet. Cut cheese into 3/4 x 3/4 x 1/4-inch pieces. Cut peppers into thin strips about 3/4-inch long.

2Place a piece of cheese on each chip. Top with a strip of chilli. Bake in a 400° oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

3Serve hot.
