- 1 cup Flour
- 1/3 cups Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/4 cups Oil
Directions

1In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt well. Stir in cornmeal. Set aside. In a small bowl beat eggs, then add milk and oil. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. Beat until smooth.

2Pour into an 8x8 baking dish, or a deep dish round baking stone. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 425°F. Serve with butter and honey or syrup.

3Note: Whole white wheat flour can easily be substituted for regular flour.
