  • 4 c. sugar
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 3/4 c. white Karo
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Mix first 3 ingredients in large saucepan. Cook to 260° (hard-boil) and cool. In mixer bowl, beat 3 egg whites until stiff. Slowly add hot syrup; add vanilla. Add pecans. Beat until dull. Spread on wax paper.

    Cool and cut.
