Ingredients
- 1/3 c. corn meal
- 2 c. scalded milk
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 1/8 tsp. allspice
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 c. milk (to be added last)
Directions

1Add corn meal to scalded milk.

2Simmer 20 minutes.

3Add all of ingredients except eggs and 1 cup milk.

4Cool.

5Carefully add eggs. Pour into casserole dish.

6After 1/2 hour, pour last cup of cold milk on top.

7Bake at 350° for 2 1/2 hours.

8Serve with half and half cream or milk and molasses.
