- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 small onion
- butter
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cut carrots into long strips, julienne style.

2Add sugar to water and boil carrots for 15 minutes.

3Saute onion in butter and place in baking dish.

4Add carrots and salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 400° until tender.
