  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 18 pound onions chopped
  • 3 ounces flour, all-purpose
  • 3023 ounces tomatoes, canned crushed
  • 18 ounce mace ground
  • 18 ounce salt
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

    Cook beef with onions in its own fat until beef loses its pink colour, stirring to break apart.

    Drain or skim off excess fat.

    Sprinkle flour over beef; continue cooking until flour is absorbed.

    Add tomatoes, mace, salt and pepper.

    Stir well.

    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.

    Serve over toast, biscuits, rice or pasta.
