- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix flour and salt.

2Cut in Crisco until it crumbles.

3Mix egg and milk together and add to flour mixture.

4Roll out 1/4-inch thick.

5Let set or stand 20 to 30 minutes.

6Cut in strips and drop in boiling chicken broth.

7Add 2 to 4 tablespoons butter.

8Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.

9Season to taste.
