- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- pinch of salt
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Dissolve cornstarch in cold water.

2Add boiling water; cook until thick and clear.

3Cool.

4Beat egg whites until frothy; add pinch of salt.

5On high speed, gradually add sugar and beat until peaks form.

6On low speed, add vanilla and cornstarch mixture. Return to high speed and beat until stiff.

7Cover pie filling. Bake at 375°.
