- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cornstarch.

2Add water and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and clear.

3Cool. Beat egg whites with salt and vanilla.

4Add 6 tablespoons sugar gradually, beating after each addition of ingredients.

5Add cooled cornstarch mixture and continue beating until peaks form.

6Use as desired.
