- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Dissolve together cornstarch and water.

2Add boiling water. Cook until thick and clear; cool.

3Beat egg whites until they stand in soft peaks, then beat into cold cornstarch.

4Beat until firmer peaks are formed.

5Gradually add sugar; beat, beat, beat until firm peaks form.

6Add vanilla; beat in.

7Put on pie.

8Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes.
