Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients with fork.

2Add shortening.

3Mix with fork until crumbly.

4In small bowl, mix 1/2 cup water, vinegar and egg with spoon.

5Add to dry ingredients.

6Mix until moist.

7Divide dough into 5 equal parts.

8Shape into flat round patties ready for rolling.

9Wrap each in wax paper and chill 1/2 hour.

10Roll out. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, 350° for 50 minutes.

11(May be stored in freezer until needed or refrigerated 3 days.)
