Never Fail Pie Crust

- 5 c. flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. shortening (not lard)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 large egg
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Mix flour, shortening, salt and sugar until mealy.

2Add vinegar to egg and beat together with water.

3Mix and chill for 1 hour.

4Keep in refrigerator.

5Makes enough crust for 4 to 5 pies. For smaller amount cut recipe in half.

6This crust is great for frozen pies.
