- 3 sticks butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. cake flour
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- dash of salt
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour.

2Start with 1 cup flour. Mix, then add 3 eggs and mix.

3Continue adding flour and eggs, beating after each addition, ending with flour.

4Add milk accordingly.

5Then add vanilla and mix.

6Pour into 10-inch tube pan that is greased and floured.

7Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
