- 1 c. milk
- 1 small can milk
- 3 medium potatoes, boiled
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 6 c. flour
- 1 cake yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Mash potatoes.

2Stir in shortening while potatoes are still hot; beat well.

3Add milk and salt, then beat in yeast and 1 cup of flour; let stand until foamy.

4Add well beaten eggs and remaining flour; beat dough until elastic and easy to handle. Knead until smooth.

5Let stand in warm place until double in bulk. Make into rolls; let rise until light.

6Bake in moderate oven (375°).
