Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. lard
- 2 qt. sifted flour
- 1/2 qt. boiling water
- 2 beaten eggs
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 1/2 hour.

2Melt lard in boiling water; let cool.

3Sift flour, salt and sugar into a large bowl.

4Make a well in center in which to pour the dissolved yeast, melted lard and water.

5Add last beaten eggs; beat and mix well.

6Let rise 1 hour in warm place.

7Knead a little and make out into rolls.

8Put in a warm place to rise; let rise until double in size.

9It takes about 2 hours.

10Bake in a moderate oven (370°) until golden brown.
