- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/3 c. warm water
- 1 c. cold water
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 6 to 8 c. plain flour
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Into 1 cup boiling water, add shortening, sugar and salt.

3When cool, add eggs and cold water and beat.

4Add yeast and flour to make a soft dough.

5Let rise until doubled in size and knead down.

6Cut in rolls.

7Bake at 350° until golden brown.
