  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter, Plus More To Rub On Top Of Baked Rolls
  • 2 packages (1/4 Oz. Packet) Quick-Rise Yeast
  • 1/4 cups Warm Water
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 6 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

    Place the milk in a pan and add the butter and scald. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. While the milk is cooling, put the yeast and water into your mixing bowl and allow to proof until it's bubbly. Add the eggs and sugar and mix well. Add the cooled milk. Sift the flour and salt into the mixing bowl and allow to combine. Once it's pulling away from the edges, let your dough hook beat the daylights out of it for two minutes. Remove to a greased container and cover and let rise until doubled in size. Punch down and form into balls for rolls, or roll out onto a floured surface for cinnamon rolls, or cut into squares for runza filling. Bake in a preheated 400°F for 15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Rub butter over the tops when you take them out!
