- 1 12 cups raisins
- 4 cups milk, hot
- 3 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup maple sugar (or Faux Maple Sugar or brown sugar)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1 cup cream
Directions

1Spread saltines with butter.

2Barely cover the raisins with boiling water and cook until plump; drain.

3Arrange alternately a layer of crackers and a layer of raisins in a greased baking dish.

4Pour hot milk over the top and let stand for half an hour.

5Beat eggs and egg yolks well; add salt, sugar, spices and cream.

6Combine with the first mixture in the baking dish and bake at 325F for 2 hours.
