- 3 lb. beef roast
- 1 large head cabbage, quartered
- 1 1/2 lb. whole carrots, cut across middle
- 3 medium onions (whole)
- 6 potatoes, halved
Directions

1Dip roast in seasoned flour and brown in skillet.

2Put roast in a Dutch oven or large pan with lid.

3Cook 1 hour and add cabbage, carrots, whole onions and water to cover.

4Cook 1 hour and then add potatoes; cook until tender.

5Serve with each vegetable in its own dish and meat on platter.

6The broth is great for gravy.

7The leftovers from this dish makes a great vegetable soup; just add a few other vegetables and tomato juice.
