- 3/4 lb. sugar
Directions

1Place berries in a large, heavy boiler.

2Put sugar on berries and let stand overnight.

3Place boiler on stove; and add 1/4 cup of water.

4Bring slowly to a boil.

5Let boil for 20 to 30 minutes.

6Pour immediately into hot; sterilized jars.

7Seal in the usual manner.
