- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. flour, sifted
- 2 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pie shell, baked (optional)
- whipped topping (optional)
Directions

1In the top of a double boiler, put sugar, salt and flour. Stir in 1/3 cup milk (remainder to be used later) and beaten egg yolks.

2Mix until well blended.

3Add remaining milk and cocoa. Cook, until thick, stirring constantly.
