- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. white syrup
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. uncooked oats
- 1 c. coconut or walnuts
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan; then add milk and syrup, stir.

2Cook to soft ball stage and remove from heat.

3Add margarine, vanilla, oats and coconut or walnuts.

4Stir well and drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

5Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
