Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. oil (no cholesterol)
  • 3 egg whites or Egg Beaters
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. oat bran
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice or nutmeg
  • 3 c. shredded apples

Directions

    Cream together the sugars, oil and egg whites.

    Add to the mixture, in order, the flour, whole wheat flour, oat bran, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice (or nutmeg) and the apples, mixing well after each.

    Spray Pam on 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
