  • 1 lb. bacon or 1 lb. sausage
  • 2 c. chopped onions
  • 16 eggs
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 6 c. milk
  • 1 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. Jack cheese, grated

Directions

    Saute bacon or sausage until partially cooked.

    Add onions and cook until tender, but not brown.

    Pour off excess fat.

    Combine eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and milk; mix well.

    Add bacon, onions and cheese.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
