- 5 lbs pork butt (shoulder)
- 12 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 (12 ounce) can Coke
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3 bay leaves
- salt
- pepper
- 12-1 cup water
Directions

1Trim the fat from the pork (reserve the fat).

2Cube the pork.

3Cook fat until it releases enough grease.

4Take out the fat.

5Turn the stove to high and add pork to the grease.

6Cook until lightly seared outside.

7Add all ingredients.

8Only add enough water to barely cover the top of the pork.

9Bring it to boil for 5 minutes.

10Cover and lower the temperature to simmer.

11Stir occasionally.

12Cook until all liquid has evaporated and the outside of the pork is caramelized.

13Pork should separate very easily at this point.

14Serve with Mexican rice or make your favorite taco & burritos with it.
