- 1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3 large bananas (very ripe), mashed
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Cream Crisco with sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Beat well. Mix flour with salt and soda.

4Add flour mixture slowly, beating well.

5Add bananas and nuts, mixing well for 2 minutes.

6Pour batter into greased and lightly floured 9 x 13-inch pan or two 8-inch layer pans before baking.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
