- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 3 c. diced apples
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla

1Preheat oven to 350°.
