Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. noodles
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar

Directions

    Melt butter in skillet; brown ground beef and drain.

    Add garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce.

    Simmer 15 minutes. Cook noodles and drain.

    Add green onions, cream cheese (cut in cubes) and sour cream.

    In casserole, make a layer of meat sauce; top with a layer of noodles.

    Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.

    Sprinkle with grated cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
