- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg beaten
Directions

1Combine flour, salt and baking powder.

2Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly.

3Pour in milk and add egg.

4Mix only until flour is dampened.

5Don't worry about lumps.

6Drop by spoonfuls on top of boiling meat or fruit.

7Cover tightly and steam for 12 minutes without raising cover.
