  • 1 each eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup apples diced

Directions

    Beat egg, sugar, vanilla extract and baking powder together until smooth and fluffy.

    Beat in the flour until smooth and well blended.

    Stir in walnuts and apples.

    Turn into a lightly greased 8-inch pie plate and bake at 350F (180C) for 30 minutes.

    Pie will puff up as it cooks, then collapse as it cools.

    Serve warm, topped with a scoop of ice milk.
