  • 1 c. dried prunes
  • 1 3/4 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • whipped cream

    Pour 1 3/4 cups water over prunes.

    Cover and cook until tender.

    Cool and drain, reserving liquid.

    Chop prunes and add to prune liquid.
