Nut Glazed Brie

  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. broken walnuts, pecans or almonds
  • 1 Tbsp. whiskey or brandy
  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. round Brie cheese (5-inches in diameter)
  • apple wedges
  • lemon juice
  • seedless grapes
  • assorted crackers

Directions

    In a small mixing bowl, stir together brown sugar, nuts and whiskey or brandy.

    Cover and chill up to one week.

    After one week, place cheese in a 9-inch pie plate or platter.

    Bake in a 500° oven for 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is slightly softened. Sprinkle sugar mixture over top.

    Bake 2 to 3 minutes more or until sugar is melted and cheese is heated.
